NewzBangla Desk : In seven
separate road accidents, in different parts of West Bengal, at least 12 people
been killed. While one accident happened on Tuesday night, the other six accidents
happened on Wednesday morning.
The accidents happened in
West Midnapore, Bankura, Purulia , East Burdwan districts and near
Siliguri. Six are injured in the accidents.
In the accident near
Changual of Salboni police station, in West Midnapore on Wednesday morning,
three cyclists died. The three had been identified as Sujit Rana, Ajit Rana and
Jayanta Roy.
“On the NH60, the three died after they were
hit by a sand loaded truck on Wednesday morning”, Alok Rajoira, SP of West
Midnapore said. “In another accident, in Kharagpur Local PS area, on Tuesday
night two women died”, he added.
On Tuesday night, a maruti
van had collided with a truck near Rupnarayanpur, on NH60 and five were
injured in the accident.
On Wednesday, in an accident
at Katwa area of East Midnapore a couple died and their child is injured.
Police said, they were in a motorcycle and the accident happened after it
collided with a truck.
