Kolkata: Damodar Valley Corporation, a statutory organization under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released an official recruitment notice for the position of Overman on a contractual basis.
The corporation is looking to fill 16 vacancies to support its mining operations. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to submit their applications online before the fast-approaching deadline.
* Education: A Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized institute.
* Certification: Must possess a valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency issued by the DGMS for Coal (under CMR 2017 or 1957) and a valid First Aid Certificate.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Open Cast Coal Mines.
* Age Limit: Maximum 55 years (as of the closing date), with relaxations for reserved categories as per GOI rules.
